I started this company because I love to work with my hands. Not a slogan — a habit I couldn't shake. And I love that people use what I make: a wallet that rides in a pocket for ten years, a notebook cover that gets rained on and worn smooth. That's not damage. That's the point.
The Hide
Full-grain veg tan, sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy, France and, of course, Chicago. Every hide is inspected by hand before it's cut.
The Cut
Patterns are created, tested and refined over months of full use testing. No two panels are ever perfectly identical.
The Stitch
Saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread — two needles, one hole, a seam that won't unravel if a single stitch fails.
The Stamp
Edges are hand-burnished, then the piece is stamped, oiled, and signed off before it ships.

There's no factory floor and no production line. I make everything myself, at home, in Chicago, with high-quality hides. Orders go out when they're finished — and they're finished when they're right.
